Its too much to expect that at her age she will get lead role opposite an Alister in a Alist movie...that too with those acting skills. She is doing whatever she can with her limited skills and fading beauty. Madhuri and Sridevi who were bigger superstars than her at their peak couldnt manage all this at 40+. Though ofcourse they played lead roles successfully in smaller films which Ash tried in films like Jazbaa, Sarabjit and failed miserably.

She might not be a greatest acting talent but she is good actress which is enough for her fans. Her USP is her beauty which is still not fading a bit at 43. Anushka looks older than her in every scene.

Failed miserably in Jazbaa and Sarbjit? LOL. Both did very decent business, not miserable.

Jazbaa and Sarbjit are not disasters. They recovered money and got decent reviews.

Her last blockbuster was Robot with Rajni but she got more acclaim for flop Guzaarish. Hit or flop she never did insignificant role but in ADHM her role seems so minuscule.

This role seems insignificant to the main plot. The central plot revolves around Anushka-Ranbir and Fawad. Aishwarya's role seems to be added unnecessarily. More of an extended cameo which is not even central to the story. Atleast music video suggests that. We have to wait for more trailers for final thought. 😡

I don't get what Ash is doing in the film. Her role seems so minuscule. Its Anushka's film from start to end. Disappointed as Ash fan. She should not have accepted this 'special' role. This is clearly Ranbir-Anushka film. Aishwarya looks stunning but what about her role?

The new music video clears all doubts about who has how much role. 😡

Ash is looking georgeous and setting a trend of younger hero- older actress . This role will extend and open up avenues not only for Ash, but also for other older actresses.
Ash will benefit immensely from this movie. Mark my post . Will come back after movie releases.

Ash looks gorgeous. She is not playing a mother, but a lover to a younger man. So there are other people in this movie. So what ? A smaller role can be more memorable than the main leads if played well. Look at PC in BajiRao and Kangana in Fashion. They both stole the show.
