Discussed in another thread basically BM and KANK had the same thing of partner cheating on their spouse with someone in the name of love. BM is regarded as one of the best film in BW while KANK as one of the shittiest.

Is it justified to compare these two films or not? ?

Edit- Got my answer so further discussion would only be meaningless .

How many more times??

It was all down to the execution + the development of the "affair" - it wasn't done right.

It's less about "cheating" and more about characters' journeys and dilemmas.

BM had some 50 shades BDSM foreplay with slicing and dicing. Mastani didnt had to worry about cash payments, hotel cameras. Baji rao was shown as a stud. Abhi was shown as a bechara who deprived Maya of basic instincts.

Maya wins hands down. She almost made martyr out of Dev. 😆

In bollywood none that i can recall.. mostly in the name of so called happy ending they unite the leads even if its a case of cheating 🤔
