There have been reports that Shah Rukh Khan will be doing an extended cameo Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. What fuelled it more is the fact that the Fan actor spoke about the film on his Twitter account. He even spoke about the music which he loved a lot. He called the title track the nicest ballet. All this love for Karan Johars film must have given rise to speculations about Shah Rukh's part in the film. But we now know that it was all just hearsay and nothing else.

Having Shah Rukh do a cameo in a KJo film is like a dream come true. These two together make amazing cinema and it's been sometime since we got an overdose of melodrama. Naturally, everyone was elated to know that SRK has an extended cameo in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. In fact, there were talks about Shah Rukh replacing Saif Ali Khan in the film who plays Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's husband. Sorry to burst the bubble but it's not true. According to a source close to the production house, "There is no truth to this tale. The film is already over." Saif has even shot for his portions, as per few reports.

So if you are thinking all this love for each other has something to do with SRK's presence in the film, you are mistaken. These two are genuinely fond of each other and Shah Rukh genuinely loves the songs of this film. There is no fakeness here. But then you never know. Diwali is still far and it has a deep affinity for our Fan superstar. So may be, and we will pray for that, Shah Rukh might just turn up in one of the scenes in the film! FINGERS CROSSED...
