Madhuri Dixit had MAJOR support from Subhash Ghai. She was playing second-lead and third-lead in many flop ass movies post her debut.

He got her so much coverage in magazines and introduced her to top producers. He relaunched her in Ram Lakhan. She was super talented, but she made it with his support.

On the other hand, a star kid Karisma Kapoor had very little support if any when she debuted.

Without support nobody can make it big in Bollywood. Filmy background or not, it doesn't matter. You have to compromise and sacrifice a lot, then you get opportunities and if you have it in you then you are able to make it big.
So i don't get the point behind this article.
