I was just about to write this but then saw your post. And a 200000% in agreement with it, I am. NO-ONE can actually make it without tonnes of hard work, X Factor & luck. No matter whose son/daughter you are or whose bed you've warmed. In the end the Audience is the Judge & a ruthless & frivolous one at that. NOPE. Even for the * kids, it's only that 1 movie that is the decider. Max a few more. * kids get chances, hell yes, but not audience support, luck & everything else. This trade is ruthless. Even BJr despite having a legend for whom people stand up when he enters on set i.e. AB Sr, is snubbed openly by BW. Hasn't he mentioned it time & again how people don't pick up his calls because his movies flop. And he isn't exaggerating. Many other actors have gone through the same. Hell, his own father has seen very dark days pre-KBC with the scandal & AB Corp melt-down. Read his India Today IV & accounts of others who knew him at the time. Am saying all this to express the fact that, it's only your talent & work that flaws you places. For every Ash-type beauty there will be a Liz Taylor out there & for a Shabana Azmi type talent, a Judi Dench. It's what YOU bring to the table & YOUR hard work & luck, not really whose womb/sperm produced you or whose bed you graced. 🥱
