...did you read as a part of your school/college language/literature curriculum?

I know this is not related to BW, but recently I went through all of my secondary school literature books again, and was reminded about how much I used to enjoy my lit classes back then...😳

I have read the following:
David Copperfield
The Lion, the witch and the wardrobe
Homer's Iliad and Odyssey
Scarlet Pimpernel
Shakespeare's As you like it and Julius Caeser (also condensed versions of The Tempest, The Merchant of Venice, Twelfth night, The Winter's Tale, Much Ado about nothing and A Midsummer's Night's Dream)
Animal Farm
A zoo in my luggage
Some short stories by Edgar Allan Poe and Oscar Wilde
Also famous poems like Daffodils, and some others by John Keats and Robert Frost..

My personal favorites were all the plays by Shakespeare and also Homer's Iliad...

What did you all read at school/college?😊
Also do you want any of these novels.plays to be made into a BW movie? 😆
I would really love it they adapt either a midsummer night's dream or much ado about nothing because of all the crazy love stories in them...And also Homer's Iliad (because the HW version Troy didnt include the Roman gods and goddesses who played a crucial role in the original work)😛

Julius Caesar
To Kill a Mockingbird
Othello
Short summaries of Tempest, Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, King Lear, Merchant of Venice, Taming of the Shrew, Macbeth, The Two Gentlemen of Verona ...and.. I think I'm forgetting one more Shakespearan play 🤔
Arms and The Man(by George Bernard Shaw)
Pride and Prejudice
Lord of the Flies
The Guide

There are way too many poems.. lol, I'll just mention the poets - Shelley, John Donne, John Keats, Robert Browning, Alfred Lord Tennyson, William Wordsworth, Alexander Pope(only Rape of the Lock), and ...so on 😳 pretty much all famous poets.

And the weird part is, despite so much exposure to English - my vocabulary is poor 👎🏼

@Angel-likeDevil

I miss school so much too! 😭 Especially my 7th and 8th grade Literature classes...

Oh and I really enjoyed reading Julius Caeser and Brutus was ❤️ in the play 😳
I love the whole theme of external and internal conflict and how it puts friendships and morales to test...

But I find it slightly comical how everyone (well, just Brutus and Cassius) just decide to kill off themselves for no good reason towards the end😆
