for those wondering why it has a trailer, its because its an ad film, its going to be longer than a 30 second ad, it also has a song with a music video, also it will dialogues and action sequences, chings r marketing this on a big scale, its all about advertising

Ads have done so much for Ranveer..

Ads are like a show reel to show off his versatility.

Ads ,dubsmash,dare,stage performances,red carpet,conclaves..Everything is a stage for him!!He was born to entertain.

Any Durex ad coming up?

there hasn't been any news about a durex ad, he is currently filming an ad in budapest, he did an ad for head and shoulders which was directed by Farah khan and an ad for rupa frontline, he has also done other shoots but its not been revealed wat they r for

Can you promote your product without stereotyping and appropriating from marginalized cultures? Seriously, do these people even keep up with global social issues.

Ranveer "Ching", the name itself is an offensive stereotyping of Asians. The entire Ranveer Ching advertisement was built on offensive stereotypes. My Asian American roommate found the advertisement to be highly inappropriate, and she is one of the least PC people I know.

Now this appropriation of the Native American headdress. The headdress holds a lot of cultural significance to Native American people. They have been fighting a long hard battle against colonizers who have appropriated their gear and symbolism for profits. There has been movement against sports teams like Redskins and Indians. As a culture that struggles against marginalization in the western world the least we can do is show solidarity and respect towards other marginalized cultures.

Not impressed. Liking Ranveer less every day, if thats even possible.

its supposed to be a fun ad, not to be taken seriously, it has the typical masala, action and funny elements that rohit has in his films, the ad is for chings, i guess it about ranveer the hero saving this community from hunger
