A name is a name, something we don't have control over, and even if we do and chose not to do anything about it out of respect to our parents, doesn't give anyone else the license to ridicule it. And NO we shouldn't settle for people making fun of people with 'funny' names. this is called Bullying. And no one should settle for it. I'm sorry you settled for it in your life and therefore think it's normal. But i assure you, bullying is not acceptable in any shape or form.

It's not ignorance. It's common sense. It isn't about right or wrong. You can keep something that doesn't get you ridiculed or you keep one and spend your entire life fighting over it when you can do something else with that time and energy. One absolutely have control over name. Many actors ans actresses has changed their screen name. There is a reason you don't name your kid Osama bin Laden and not get surprised if he is pulled at the airport line up every time. You don't name yourself Sunny Leone and hope people won't ridicule you. Like I said the world doesn't give a shit about accommodating everyone. You can either fight them for all their wrongs or you do something worthwhile on your own to remove such factors.

So yes I and I'm sure many others gladly settled.

This type of jokes should not be said in public, between friends circle chalta hain, but in public can be embarrassing.

Although Daina's surname is weird, I never call her full name, it is always Daina, I mean I don't fcuking know her, I go around saying cuss words, still I feel awkward calling her surname, so I can understand how she felt.

Diana Penty might not show it but she has not taken the joke lightly.

Diana Penty's Happy BhaagJayegi releases this August 19. The film team recently unveiled its music amidst much fanfare. All the singers were invited on stage to sing and perform to their songs. Mika Singh who sang the chartbuster Gabru track was also present.

Mika, known for his dim-witted and disgusting statements made a rather disgusting remark at Diana. He made fun of Diana's name. He shocked everyone present when he suddenly said, "She is Diana Panty, I am Mika Kachcha."

Diana, who squirmed at the joke didn't let it get the best of her and maintained her composure at the event. But we met the actress and asked her about the entire incident. Initially hesitant to answer, after a bit of prodding she eventually told us, "I don't find these jokes funny. I don't even understand how people laugh at such comments."

When asked if she was miffed with Mika's comments, she just made a face. Diana definitely didn't like it but she didn't want to give more mileage to the incident hence decided to stay silent about it.

But then again, what's wrong with you Mika?
