People who are doubting Hrithik's starpower need to chill lmao. 😆 He still has a lot of time to go in the industry and one flop is not making him go anywhere.
Anyway, I hope the film sustains at the BO on the weekdays. It deserves so much more praise and collections than what it is getting imho.

MD will definitely recover it's full budget and profit sufficiently. So I'm chilled as a HR fan .

Seems that WOM is decent and more people are slowly waking up from the critics bias.
The fact that HR takes 2 or + year gaps, as a psychologist I understand.

Actors have to deal with filming, rehearsals, fan meetings, travelling to sets, they're subject to lots of things and energy expenditure. Extraverts like SRK or Ranveer can deal more easily with this, since they gather their energy from crowds and constant activity/stimulation.

Hrithik is more of an introvert. Usually, introverts who sustain long periods of energy consuming tasks, need an equivalent time of rest. It's just how they work. He "recharges his batteries" by having alone time, or with people close to him, and focusing in one single task (remember his interviews whe he says, when he is doing a movie, he shuts off from the world).

Hope this was useful. There are a lot interesting things one corroborates about human behavior, by watching celebs 😛

problem is the low opening, otherwise everything is stable, but had the opening been atleast 5 crs more, things would be so different. Also, HR has always delivered great openings, so it is not only shocking but disappointing too that probably the audience were too much relying on the reviews or they thought that the subject itself is boring. infact even if all his fans watch the film in theaters then also opening would be great too knowing he has a loyal fan base.
i don't know where the team went wrong, but they did, but i think am still proud, Hrithik and his team is very positive, they are active in social media and replying to fans and reviews, HR has replied to fans whoever has praised him, this makes me feel good if not happy, that it is not the end.

The film can sustain and even if it runs for one more week with decent collections, they will recover the budget, as much of the budget has been recovered through satellite and music.

The knives will be out for Hrithik Roshan after this as the not only has the film fared poorly but also did not open, even the Overseas market could not open. But Hrithik Roshan is an established star so the stardom remains intact unless this start to happens all the time. There is a problem with selection of subjects as he is still to cross the 200 crore nett mark despite being one of the few stars who has given a couple 20 crore nett plus openings. Its the same for akshay Kumar but there the volume of work is much higher and the initials less.

Hrithik Roshan did a similar film like this Jodhaa Akbar which also did not do too well. He tends to work well in the commercial action format as even a Bang Bang managed 140 crore nett which is a good number though it was not a big hit due to huge costs. But over the last few years there has been a Jodhaa Akbar, Guzaarish, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and now Mohenjo Daro and with this sort of stuff, the Hrithik Roshan brand takes a beating. He is an established star and there is time to pull this round but it has to be quick as that image of a smart action dance star could be hit as youngers stars try establish in the same image

All these films mentioned ... Jodhaa Akbar, Guzaarish, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara worked well for HR and contributed towards establishing him a superstar. He was exceptional in Jodha Akbar . Guzarish saw him mature as an actor and in ZNMD he was very good too.

I have no doubt MD will lift him higher as a contender for the BW throne . Soon the public will overlook the biased critics and watch the movie for certain.

I couldn't watch the movie due to other commitments...But my sis had watched it on saturday and she totally loved it...She's not even an HR fan but she was completely in awe of the movie and she's been insisting me to watch the movie at any cost...😎

The advance bookings were very poor for the weekend in my city... I just checked the bookings for the next two days and now its showing full... I still have hopes that the movie will do well...😊 I'll be watching it soon and will also post my reviews here...😛
