I saw it and it was decent. Not on the same level as MOS and BvS. The storytelling there is very complex esp BvS. They both touch on a lot of themes and do so quite well.

But then it doesn't try to be. It more of a fun but still dark and edgy summer blockbuster.

I am mad as hell at WB for messing with this though. Seems like Ayers original version was much better and more dark and gritty. Which is what a movie title Suicide Squad should be.

135 is huge. And I think it will have better legs than BvS. For one, there is almost no competition unless I am mistaken.

And second it is a lot of fun as I have said. BvS was very dark and serious. That fact was slapped over every review and it turned the average viewer away. Plus the story was quite complex to follow. Not a combination that people want these days apparently.

SS has at least fun and a very simple plot aspect going for it.

I just saw the suicide squad the story was fine but kind of rushed and some of the characters were miscast.

I liked their tv counterparts better like of Capt.Boomerang, Amanda Waller, Katana. Joker was okay not that great, otherwise rest were good.

The best were actress who played Harly , Will Smith, actor who play Rick Floyd and the witch.

I liked him as well. There is not enough enough material to really from an opinion. Leto is a terrific actor though and I sure he will nail it if given enough time. Its very hard to look great if half of the stuff you shot isn't even in the movie.

A friend of mine saw another cut and he said that they did Joker a disservice in this cut. They cut his scenes (Leto confirmed it too). As a result his arc in the story comes across as not well thought out.

Heath Ledger's Joker role in Dark Knight series is best no one can top that. That role he played was mind blowing. For me there are 2 actors I liked in joker role Jack Nicholson n Heath Ledger. 👏

The rushed aspect can be explained by the fact that WB messed with the cut Ayer made originally. It was more in tone with the first two trailer esp the comic con one from what I have read.

I have to disagree about TV counterparts being better though, especially Waller. Viola Davis nailed it. The film version was far more superior and comic accurate in my opinion.
