You misunderstood my answer. How will the audience love him when he will have no movies because he will be behind the bars? We are easily looking at minimum 50+ years sentencing with no chance or parole.

i think he wouldve long back been packed off to an Asylum. As He wouldve been declared a psycho by one and all, and Papa Salim's apologies wouldve done nothing to save him.

And since Psycho's dont get movies. People wouldve forgotten a guy named Salman Khan who beat up his gf and kill people on road.

the difference is
real india is still in village and small towns
they have so many other issues
most of them are not on net
they are hadly aware of half of his controversies TBH
around 20'percent indians are on net unlike west.
except people on net no one f**king gives a damn what actors do in personal like
my family dont care
they watch movie if its good
does not matter salman or irrfan is there

india is so different from west
30 percent are not even educated
he was most fans in masses

Mothers against drunk driving, PETA, national coalation against domestic violence, and worst national rifle registry who have power even in white house will skewer people like Salman. There is no way he will get away. He will be retrialed.

I agree some people are probably not aware of his cases or don't follow closely l and probably just go watch a movie when it comes out.

Its become such a self proclaimed elitist trend to bash India. Is it a fake elitism? For whatever reasons its become a fashion trend to call everything about India as downmarket, unfair , unequal, and vent out your own frustrations on India. Isnt this unfair?

Every country has its issues, the judiciary and police in USA is no less corrupt, so many celebrities there too have gone unpunished. There is discrepancy in how crimes against white and blacks are viewed. Recent news reporting have shown that. Had Salman been in USA and been a super star, there too he would have got protection. Was Micheal Jackson ever punished for his crimes against children? The champion swimmer turned rapist was also given lenient term. This is not a game of raking up dirt. USA wont have less dirt.
