What if Salman lived in the States??

Not just with the jurisdiction system but the common man as well, will Salman be as accepted as he's in india??
So, I've been seen people bash Matt Damon right left and center, calling him a hypocrite and a coward and all the names in the people...and for what for voicing his opinion about gun violence in America cuz apparently he's makes money using guns in the movies, they saying since you do action movies like the Bourne series you can't be against guns otherwise that makes a hypocrite...people are outraged so much so they trying to boycott his movie (Jason Bourne) this made me think what if Salman has done all the horrible things he's accused of here in the States.
I mean wld the audience accept his movies?? He's been accused of taking a human life, animal life and all in between,be it threatening witnesses or saying offensive things, plus his am above one and all attitude, with all that ignorance.
Matt is nothing like Salman in fact he's the exact opposite of him, he's a decent human being,he's very grounded after all that he has achieved, he does charity, and doesn't throw it around every time he gets into trouble like it gives him the right to offend.šŸ˜†
Still people are having problems with the fact that he uses guns in the movies and say he can't have an opinion on guns since he's making money off them (i find this argument silly btw)
Will the same audience buy Salman's large than life roles, where he plays the messiah for the poor, for the forgotten, for the victims, where's he's the one to finally bring justices for all that have been wronged??

What do you think?? wld he still have so many followers??

P.S. I know the unfortunate obvious that he's not in the states so don't come throwing that at me??šŸ˜†

If you look up the definition of terrorists he fits the parameters so people like him would be most likely under the no fly list, and will be doing some hard time in the jail for all his felonies. He would be incarcerated in a supermax prison like the one in Arizona or probably Guantanamo Bay or atleast in some maximum security prison.

He would've been in Jail or the industry would've boycotted him unlike BW.

Hollywood can also be just as bad I think. I mean, just look at Roman Polanski, who is still praised in Hollywood by a lot of people and still makes movies and didn't ever get a fitting punishment. I still get sick when I remember watching an award show and seeing celebrities give Polanski a standing ovation. Celebrities in the United States can get away with stuff that the average person can't because the sad truth is money talks and if you look at the prisons, it isn't overcrowding with rich people, it's overcrowding with poor people who can't afford to defend themselves as much as celebrities/the rich can. There is a systemic overcriminalization and overcarceration of people from mostly low-income and miniority groups in the United States and there needs to be a reform.

Anyways to answer your question I think Salman would not get boycotted and at first they would make it seem like he is going to be harshly punished but then just actually give him a slap on the wrist and make him pay fine and MAYBE like a year in jail but then let him out early with some probation. That's just what I think.

Polanskis case stems from the 1970's. Salman has a plethora of other charges including murder in two seperate occasions, domestic violence, criminal intimidation and others. The prosecutor would have a much stronger case.

Still though I personally think there is a chance he would get a light sentence, money really means a lot. Maybe I am just jaded by how many times I have seen people get away with heinous things in the court system/seen the system fail too many times to have much faith in it.

I think would have been same . I have not much knowledge about the scenario of law in US but as far as my info is there
1. there have been celebrities such as O.J.Simpson who got away quite easily after their first murder

2. secondly there are far too many loopholes such as momentary loss of conscience , something like that was shown on Boston legal so I know šŸ˜‰

3. there is jury system and money can influence the choice of jury and sallu just needs 51% of jury to be in his favour šŸ˜†

I think all of you misunderstood my question, what I want to know is not whether he will be punished or not.
My question will the audience love him as he's loved in India.
Wld the people there buy his larger than life self in the movie??

Mahatma OS got away with murder but the people know that very much and he no longer the player people loved, he's just a murderer even though he was never convicted.
