Will she? Won't she? Ever since she first graced the party circuit as a stunning teenager, rumours have been rife about Sridevi and Boney Kapoor's eldest daughter Jhanvi making her first splash in Bollywood.
And why not? The 19-year-old already has over 10K followers on social media, with fans going gaga about her gorgeous looks.
From time to time, reports have surfaced about filmmakers queueing outside her doorstep and returning disappointed. Now, SpotboyE.com has it that the latest filmmaker to have failed in his attempt, despite moving heaven and earth, is the man who made Ghajini (2008) -- A.R. Murugadoss.
Had he had his way, Jhanvi would have begun shooting for her debut film tomorrow. The director's latest -- a Rs 150-crore Telugu film with Mahesh Babu in the lead -- is going on floors tomorrow. And, both Murugadoss and Mahesh were keen to rope in Jhanvi as the female lead. But the grand plan fell through.

The filmmaker held innumerable meetings with both Sri and Boney and they even gave their nod. But the problem lay elsewhere. We hear, despite Mahesh and Murugadoss persistently trying to convince her, the teenager did not budge.
Reason: Jhanvi wants to be COMPLETELY ready before she takes the plunge. Be it body, dance or acting, she wants to get it all perfect before facing the camera.
Jhanvi is already taking acting classes at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in Los Angeles, which the likes of Ranbir Kapoor has attended.
And she has been super-conscious about fitness for ages now. In a media interview 4 years ago -- Jhanvi was ONLY 15 then -- Sri herself said: "Jahnavi is health conscious, like me. I'm extremely careful about my diet and workout, and she follows me."
