I hold the same opinion. Rajesh Khanna was basically Salman Khan of the 70s. He was a very limited actor.

While Rajesh Khanna has some phenomenal roles, a lot of his films relied on pretty boy looks and charms rather than skills. People lapped up and consumed this looker.

It is also a case of sour grapes. A lot of side and character actors resent superstars and act very bitter. Can you blame them though? Won't anyone be upset when their talent and hardwork yields nothing but mediocre people rake in millions?
