Shah Rukh had 2(solos, unlike Salman in Saajan and HSSH)

Aamir also had 2.

While Sunny, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Govinda and Anil had one each.

So 90s Salman is statistically the best, but SRK and Aamir had more solo HGOTY.

While actress no doubt Madhuri is the biggest with 4 HGOTY during the 90s, well she was bigger than all the Khans during that time.
Also Kajol and Karishma had 2 and 1 respectively.

2000s, SRK and HR are winning, with 3HGOTYs, while Aamir came in late years with 2. While Sunny and Sallu had number one hit of the year only once, with Sallu being in a multi-starrer.

2010s, Salman is having 4 HGOTY and Aamir with 2.

So overall 90s first half belonged to Madhuri, while SRK was the star of second half. While Salman was there throughout the decade, but never the biggest star.

2000s much of the decade was shared by HR and SRK, with Aamir making huge impact in the fag end of the decade.

2010s Salman has been undoubtedly the most prolific. But Aamir has the ultimate prize with biggest Blockbuster ever(BOI's adjusted collection can f**k off).
