I didn't see TM or most people saying homosexuality is creepy...

They are asking if this scene has gay overtones... That's all...

And maybe some people think looking at other person bathing and undressing without their knowledge is creepy?

If we have to make posts accusing (directly or indirectly) others of making homophobic posts ( very common here) please read them beforehand

Irrespective of whether the other person is gay/straight, male/female, married/single - Ogling someone while bathing without their knowledge is wrong, problematic and almost criminal.

That being said, in this particular song I think they are portraying 'curiosity' rather than 'lust'.

TM ,it was a misunderstanding. I read a post which said lesbianism is creepy and weird ,so it just got my blood boiling for a second. Now,it's clear..anyway, sorry for the misunderstanding ,all good.i am sorry just being LGBT passionate and having friends,if i see any comments against, i just get hyped.so sorry again..

Yup I agree with you. Ogling is wrong irrespective of gender and relationship status.
Maybe they aren't portraying lust but in most of 70s movies it was shown that girls used to bath together. Since its an open lake and probably the other lady was there for bathing purpose as well, I don't think that would had been any problem both bathing together but her hiding like she'll get caught shows her intention were different.
Moreover most of instances in this awesome classic movie are left for interpretation with one of best two-way open ending. So maybe there's some implication here as well

In the Saudagar song, its just a curious young village girl, watching and listening to the older woman singing abt her husband/lover, just out of curiosity to know what was going on in her life.

But the Razia Sultan scene obviously has lesbian overtones. Its evident from the expressions of the 2 young maids who are watching them.

In those days, movies had guys touching, hugging each other, which would be termed gay in today's world... they showed women behaving in ways which would appear lesbian in modern times. Indians were not that aware or conscious abt these things back in those days.
