'Saif & I never had an affair' - Shahid

VBhardwaj pulled a casting coup of sorts when he roped in Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in his film Rangoon. Given that Shahid once dated Saif's wife Kareena, one presumed that there would be awkwardness between the two stars.
But it seems, the actors have been matured enough to not mix their personal and professional lives.

In an interview, when Shahid was recently asked about it, he quipped to a leading newspaper, "Saif and I never have had an affair... Thank God! For the sake of girls."

When the media didn't budge from the question, he stated, "One can't live with baggage, it bogs you down. We learn our lessons in life and move ahead... at one point of time all of us become mature enough and shed that baggage. Life is too short and beautiful to hold on to unnecessary baggage."
