Nirbhaya's mother spoke on national TV how rape is not a joke and if Salman wants to know how raped women or their families feel, he should talk to them. She also lamented thinking of men and how lightly rape is taken.

I completely agree with that lady on this. Rape is not a joke. And you cannot use "raped woman" as simile or metaphor!

Rape is not some 8 hour ordeal or exercise.

Shame on his fans and colleagues in Bollywood who are defending him, his statement and claiming he respects women or maybe he failed to word "his agony" properly or blame media.🤢

It is unbelievable what lengths they go to and what all they will defend!

That heroine turned Congress politician Nagma, said it was just freedom of speech.😲

How can even the women in film industry be so spineless?

Perhaps they tolerate dirty language used by men in industry and even get exploited quietly and have no problem with dirty songs and scenes they perform. But don't expect everyone else in real life also to be okay with all the filth.

Already you have many men and women, especially of a certain age group who use the word 'rape' casually and joke about it. Even many filmy fans use words like "X film raped the box office". And here a man like Salman and his supporters are endorsing that same mindset which trivialises rape.

I pity Salman's parents, family and wonder what kind of people they are. Or what kind of circle they have. What upbringing they had.

I wonder how can fans, especially female fans be okay with such pathetic mindset?

Shame is ours for making such people superstars and icons.

Sadly, that tainted Modi also flew kites with this Salman and invited him and Salim Khan at his swearing in ceremony. 🤢

Crass how judiciary also let off this serial criminal.🤢

We may rant but Bollywood supports this Khan family. Someone like Aamir Khan who usually acts socially conscious, and runs shows like SMJ, also counts this Salman Khan among his besties.👎🏼

Thank you for answering. Wow! they really went all out on srk, didn't they ? Ironically now the same people are claiming - poor salman, no freedom of expression in india !!! ... And that he defended a terrorist on death row is conveniently forgotten.

I was confused given how every second #salmanmisquoted tweet was about srk being anti-national. You would think that srk sold national secrets to the enemy given what they were writing about him.
