I don't think Kareena can do a Devdas. Likewise I don't see Aishwarya doing a Jab We Met justice.

They both have their own space. They are both great actresses.

However Kareena has been consistently good post Jab We Met, whereas Ash was let down by her director in Jazbaa.

kareena is miles and miles ahead

she is so real and natural in most of her roles

she can play a regular character to perfection

take her recent UP for example..no drama..no rona dhona..no makeover..yet she strikes a chord and gives such a sublime real performance that you feel she is and was Dr. Preet

aish falters here..she is a bit mechanical..you can feel that she IS acting..her lines sound rehersed to me mostly

we all applaud the dramatic..out there roles and they deserve it but to play a role like Dr. Preet or rosy in talaash is more difficult i feel coz you cannot cry your eyes out..shout..scream etc and without all this you have to make an impact and only a bloody good actress like kareena can do that

now don't give me asoka..ajnabee..she was just a year old then and i am talking about the current scenario more like

Kareena should continue doing what she did in 2016, which is sign on strong characters and do films for the sake of the the script as opposed to costar.

She'll be unstoppable.
