It funny how you assumed that I am an Ash fan and that I will defend her carrying the 'flag'. I don't care if Sarbjit is a flop, disaster or average. All i know is that i liked Ash's performance despite the flaws and is def. 10 times better than many of these so called performances.

I used to dislike Kareena as an actress during her early days.. except in refugee where I had liked her... Most other movies I used to find her unbearably OTT... However she has really grown into a mature performer and where she has picked a good movie I have rarely found her doing a bad job... Loved her in Talaash... That was to me one of the most nuanced performances by an actress in recent times... She was wow in that movie... So barring that initial OTT period when I would probably rate her and Ash quite on par... She has always been a much much better actress than Ash... There is something not very natural about aishwarya rai's acting... I always feel like she is conscious of her being aishwarya rai when she is acting in a movie as well... something about not letting go and surrendering completely to the story and the moment... so yeah... I am yet to watch UP , however even without that I would rate her a much much much better performer than Ash anyday... No comparison at all for me...

Kareena has turned into a fabulous actor now. She is miles ahead of where Ash is acting wise. Its sad that she doesn't do all that much work now. Get a little ambitious bebo!




And yes Sonam in Neerja is far far better than Ash in Sarabjeet. Ash made me want to hurl something on the screen so she can stop screeching. Sonam made me cry because i was so emotionally vested with Neerja. And i say this as a person who has found sonam strictly ok in 99% of her films. Even Ranjhana.

Aish is a good actress only offscreen

Aishwarya Rai reminds me of a mannequin. Cold and frigid . Her acting skills are directly proportional to the director. Good Director Good performance or else she is pretty cringe worthy.
