Honestly Shradha and Alia cater to two completely different things..Shradha is a terrible actress but she is extremely lucky..And there are some things she does better than Alia..I don see Alia pulling off a Sun Saathiya the way Shradha did..But Shradha is not half as engaging as Alia on screen..So am not really sure what her plan is cos the way i see it, they both are made for different characters and different films 😆 One thing which i like about Shradha though- she refused to give in to a bully like Adi and has done quite well without much support despite being a star kid while Alia literally has everything handed to her on a platter..Unfortunate that Shradha doesn't have the talent to back it up and even more unfortunate that Karan shoving Alia down everyone's throat takes away from her talent to an extent 😆
From one of Shraddha's interviews, I got the impression that she realized that she's not a good actor hence wanted to focus more on singing and dancing in her films...aka go the Katrina way...Which is fine tbh. Most of her fans are Kat fans anyways. If you notice her films pretty much bank on good music and chemistry with a new gen guy. Shraddha is lucky, but Alia is 1000000 times luckier. IMHO, Alia is the luckiest heroine we've ever had but because she's talented we don't want to attribute her success to luck...whereas for people like Katrina and Shraddha who are not good actors, we just want to say they're lucky because well we can't really figure out what makes them click.
They do have completely different positives...but they can easily coexist. More visibility, though, isn't really going to change things for Shraddha.
