And anyway, Kapil's jokes are not crass. 90% of the stuff he does is pretty middle class. Like recently he came up with kapde dhone ka danda. (we call 'dhoko' in Gujju)

Well, most you IFians may not relate but trust me, An Average India has kapde dhone ka danda at home. And in fact I myself have played street cricket with it. 😆😆 It was such a nostalgia. Kapil at best represents a middle class life. It works with majority India coz 70% is middle class or below it.

About making fun then Kapil makes fun of men more than women.

Article is just rubbish. Anything to defend Tanmay bhensa. ugghhh.. I dislike genda's face so much. Feel like punching it whenever I see. 🤢

Krushna's show & comedy sucks. It's not funny at all. Now that you can call crass & cheap.

Kapil tries to keep things in line, and the male actors and himself are also made fun of. Sumona herself looks totally cool with the jokes on her lips

Regarding the whole cross dressing bit. Even the cast is tired of it, hence Sunil Grover is now a male doctor but the audience themselves wanted the crossdressing to continue, which is why the nani and the female nurse bits are there.

Have they crossed the line? Sure they have but not in the way that Tanmay has done

How does Kiku even open his mouth on this matter..his act as Saroj Khan has always been very distasteful. Of course Tanmay went too far.

I never liked both of them. Both are cheap degraded men having a depraved mindset. Both their shows should be thrown off air.🤢

I dont think they are being spared, guess when they started out there wasnt much comedy on TV and next they must have started with light jokes and less mean types but as they won fans over the years, the show became daily and the creativity went out of the window, cheapness and vulgarity started booming. At first the boldness was liked but then it became crass and too much of it every day annoyed the audience and now they are no longer interested in the thrash.

Oh yahhh 😆 ... It's Thaapi in Punjabi ... Oh God it was so funny and so true ...that's how exactly middle class women wash cloths with It 😆 and mothers threaten their kids when they do something wrong " ghar aa tu , thaapi se peetungi " 😆

Small kids use it as a bat to play cricket

Exact same case in Guj. Mum be like 'ghare aav tu.. dhoka khais aaje' 😆 means.. ghar aaja tu.. fir kapde dhone ka dhoka khayega.

Most husband - wife jokes are related to it. Like how wife does the dhulai of husband with dhoko. (thappi) 😆

Whenever our team member who had 'Bat' would go home.. we have nothing but thappi to start playing 'gulli' cricket. Those childhood days.. And Kapil covered everything there was about it. No wonder he clicks well with audience.

It's like Comparing SRK with KRK

Krushna is nobody , by using his name with Kapil in articles looks like he , his PR , Colors' PR , Kapil's haters , his 2-4 fans are trying to project him as bigger as Kapil

Forget abt Kapil even Kiku, Ali , Sunil and Bharati are bigger than him

Whenever there is any issue related to comedy , now days we see articles putting Kapil and Krushna in the same bracket ...sometimes I wonder if it's Krushna and Colors PR just to prove that he is so big and a name in comedy

Sorry but Krushna will never achieve it

Thanks to social media, some jokes go to offend a certain section and they create hue and cry ---- FIRs are made and some get arrested for it ---- Tammy isn't special ----- Instead he deserves to be thrashed ----

So what's so special about AIB and Tanmay gang to be defended for their crass jokes, some that can fall under hate speech --- ?

On this thread many said Kapil and Krushna do it so why object to Tanmay ----- With that logic, if Kiku can be jailed why object to Tanmay's FIR ---- !!!!!

Can't wrap my head around why a person like Tanmay is being defended who doesn't even spare kids ---- *🤢*
