Did Omung just call Ash middle-aged?

In an interview to a Dubai-based news agency, Emirates 24|7, Sarbjit director Omung Kumar reveals that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to essay Dalbir Kaur was a natural choice. He says, "Taking up the story of Sarabjit came with a sense of responsibility, one that wasn't unfair to their life. I couldn't take cinematic liberties with the story, as the freedom is not there. But I was also not making a documentary. So I knew the film had to have drama and all the elements an audience expects when they watch a Bollywood movie. I always knew I needed a middle-aged actress, a mature one who could play 22 years and 62 years with ease. That was my benchmark. And only Ash (Aishwarya) could do justice to this. Wonder how the actress will react to being placed in the senior actress category. We always thought being a big star was the reason Ash was roped in to play the part which requires a high-powered performance.
