it was my conscious decision to choose happiness coz I was just bored else I used to think choosing sadness or suicide is completely fine.. Nothing wrong in it. But now I think otherwise coz our basic nature is being happy not the thoughtless state which many people think.

Society do think it's bad maybe because if we have healthy minds and bodies we don't think of suicide. Healthy people generally are excited and more lively. And anything that goes against it its bad to people I meditate daily and that helps me to go on with life but if I stop doing it nothingness surrounds me again.. and then depression and anxiety attacks which I don't want. In depression the more u try to hide from the world the more you become the center of attraction. There are some instances when I just freeze without any reason and it's no fun when people look at you in that state. This is the only reason I just look fr happiness.
for me boredom is like first stage of depression.

I was watching Jamai raja today and 1 of the characters was trying to commit suicide. The lead Sid explained why she shouldn't I think that just perfectly explained why suicide is wrong. If u have the chance I think u and others should watch it.

yes of course.. I will pm you the youtube links for basic pranayam that I do..
also I read this book "the secret" I know many people make fun of it but just practicing this theory (finding happiness in nowhere) actually works.. It's a little delusional but when we look fr good things our mind basically adopt this habit of solving things and finding excitement in life. You just have to start and practice and this will trick ur mind..

anyone can commit suicide, the ones who want to do it will do it anyway, they won't stop just because its illegal, they don't care about the consequences of it anyway.

most people who do want to commit suicide are depressed, some of them act impulsively and just because of one issue that they have in life they try to end it and then later regret it (if they survive)

for others they might be stuck in a loop and see no way out. Others will say don't do it because u know future can get better, u know live on hope but does that work? How do u know its gonna get better? So u live in the hopes it'll get better but what if it doesn't? in the meantime u will be suffering hoping it'll get better, hoping for some miracle to happen but it never does, does it?

as far purpose is concerned, there is no purpose to life, there is no meaning. u give it meaning, its all made up, all the stories are made up and then we agree upon it or we don't but in the end if u really observe it and contemplate on it then u will realize that its just a story, a mind needs an explanation and a why.

why is the world like this? Why are people like this? why did that happen to me? Why is this happening? The short answer is that we don't know, lets leave it at that. we don't know. we can cook up all kinds of stories but in reality we don't know. We just want to conclude so we can feel better so we can feel like we know, chalo I know about God and he is with me, he will do it for me, chalo hogaya, now I can feel relived but after a while it'll come back, those nasty feelings will come back and then u will have to cook up another story and so it goes.

and if people who are really happy they don't have these thoughts of ending it. they're too happy to even think about ending it, why would they end it? they don't need a purpose to live. its only when your desires are not fulfilled, u feel empty inside that u think about these things and then u r like, what's the point? u want a better future but if u happy rite now and don't need anything then u won't think like this.

most people are not happy, they suffer everything. The moment one desire is fulfilled they will chase the next one hoping that will bring them fulfillment, joy but it never does.

first its school then its college then its marriage then its kids but it never happens, life goes by and most of us miss the point, chasing and keep chasing.

Thanks! Those who make fun of such stuff are just really not really aware of what a person can really go through. Delusional we say!

thanks.. Will read those too.. there are misconceptions about "law of attraction".. what I wanted to say earlier that it's not a magic but there is a logic/science behind it.
true yoga does wonders.. I do those ramdev ones.. Very effective.. helped me to get rid of my medications too, which was an impossible task as withdrawal symptoms are more damaging

The lack of interest in life stems out of some sort of subconscious unhappiness. Not having goals and aversion to activity is a symptom of depression.Depressed people sometimes are not even aware they are depressed, a condition that leads one to believe that there is no joy or purpose of life.

No one who is particular happy, setting & achieving goals, will consider letting that phase end - human nature.

The law is in place to discourage people from taking their life when what they really need is help to identify what it is that needs attention in their life.
