Since Raees declared Eid as their release date one year in advance and if only one film can release in Eid to gain max profits, then why should Raees move? Salman ka copyright hai kya Eid pe?

Is it fair for YRF to just meddle their way in and expect Raees to move?

Why should any film move in the first place? Both are superstars right? Even otherwise, off late, its been proved that WOM makes all the difference to a film..Doesn't matter who announced first or who usually releases their film on a given day..Point is anyone can release anything they want on any holiday..We have more choice and even if there is a dent in the opening, the better film will eventually win..

Ekta & Akshay declared eid 2013 date for Once upon a time in mumbai doobara earlier than chennai express, didn't they were forced to move 1 week ahead, losing all potential to be hit?

So you mean if Salman's Sultan had moved it would be good coz Raees was announced first.

And were not the same ppl were saying around BM time when they announced it first to release on Christmas that announcing first doesn't means ke Bhansali ki date kharidi hui nahi hain ke pehle book kari toh wahi release karega movie solo. 🤔

Raees moved...its their will, their choice, their fault...nothing to do with Salman even if Sultan was announced later...no one can claim their name on the date just because they announced first...its as simple as that...

so now that SRK has chickened out...kukdooo koo...Sultan has to make atleast 400 cr...after all India ka sabse bada super star...Eid release...5 day weekend...masala genre...a list actress...and no clash...nothing less than 400 cr is expected..👍🏼

SRK should go ahead and release it on eid.

If he triumps than he beat the salman again in a clash and king is back etc etc

If he loses than he is already number 3 and called done n dusted from BO.

I think most SRK fans wanted a clash, more so after Fan.

But you see, the fickle place Bollywood has turned into lately...all that matters are numbers! And when you can make a 100 crore profit, why would you let it go by allowing another movie to clash and dent your profits even by 20%.

Yes, I do agree that everyone should be allowed to release whenever they want. But that's not how Bollywood and its biggies work now. BO decides your standing...see how freely everyone is declaring Fan a flop everywhere, who cares about the actor that emerged once again? When CE did well, Shah's victory was all over the place ...but we don't see that with Fan because it was a boxoffice failure, atleast domestically.

No one is willing to change the system when they are getting the benefits in one way or another from it.
