Anushka picks all the wrong films..I guess it is lack of choices..
Who wld have agreed to do a BBB.bittu much below Shruti's league.. Can think of only binness on meeting her.. Even after sleeping with her..he was like eh.. Back to binness.Not that she had any aura after playing wife to Sahni in rnbdj...Her aura flew right out of the window after bbb and then playing a small role in LvRb...all the while YRF was grooming RS ..since then she has struggled
In the contrary, I always love the roles picked by her. They are different and challenging...barring 4 movies which are stereotyped loud bubbly characters( jthj, BBB, lvrb, badmash company), rest all movies were different an abductee in nh10, jazz singer in BV, alien friend in PK, now wrestler in sultan...
Although movies might have flopped, but she did justice whatever roles she had no matter what the screenspace making her presence felt in DDD and LVRB...I can imagine she is the only actress who don't keep reservations of acting in a leading role all the time( she doesnt mind sharing screenspace with other actresses) ...even 4-5 film old Alia and parineeti need only lead heroine projects.
She is the very few actresses as well to work with high reputable directors barring a few - imtiaz( gonna work soon), slb( she is not typical slb heroine, who knows she might get a chance), kabir Khan...
