I just searched up "Beyonce skin lightening treatment" on Google and holy crap under images you can see before and after pics and wow there is such a huge difference!

You are right but now she is back to herself. The light skin treatment has faded now imo.. I googled too. She has also done some plastic surgeries and nose jobs.
