People think Aamir is insecure about his stardom

Wasn't he supposed to do Jay Day?

He takes time to make movies, but his movies are just brilliant. They stay in our minds till his next movie releases.

If he does J Dey's biopic next (I truly hope so); he can have a couple of releases next year. It one take much time to do if the script is lock and the shooting planned beforehand.

One would be the big tent pole movie around X-mas and J Dey biopic in the summer.
The X-mas one could be the script that Farhan has written for his next directorial venture.

For that to happen he will have to start shooting for one sometime later this year (Sep-Oct). Highly unlikely though considering his track record. The guy would have done 8 movies in the last 10 years by the time Dangal comes out. 2 of which are had him in supporting roles.

There's time for him to sign a movie and release next year . Id say if its September and he has nothing else signed then worry . But some movies can be announced , filmed and released in 4/5 months 😆. Dont lose hope

yeah its aamir we're talking about not akki or ajay. he takes forever to make a movie even the short ones. I remember this was suppose to release in xmas 2015, some were saying its gonna be a one schedule movie, he will make it in 3 months and release it in xmas 2015 and here we've it at xmas 2016 😆

even if he announces a movie in september, it sill won't release in 2017, the guy takes his own sweet time making each movie. Next it'll take him a year to grow perfect moustache for the role

not really, he said his mom wants him to do more movies as he does very few movies. In aap ki adalat he said that he does things differently than other like having one release in 2yrs but my guess is he was talking about dangal coming after pk not necessarily a career move that he'll only have one movie every 2yr from now on.
