They will release it by Jan end since it needs atleast a month on Netflix prior to release of pt 2 unless they want to build hype to max by releasing it maybe in Feb end very close to Pt 2 release. I can imagine Netflix wanting the latter as it benefits them since interest will be at peak before Pt 2 release.

Movie is going strong in theatres... Why OTT so soon...

As per BookMyShow from last one hour 11k tickets are booked... Just saying

There would be a contract with Netflix, I suppose...if I remember correctly, the Netflix release is in Februar (which makes sense with about a month before part 2)... it gives the theatrical screening still 5 weeks to run.
