I am not getting my hopes up as she was rumored to do ek tha tiger and sultan as well, both went to other actresses so not believing until confirmed. But always wanted to see sal-dp pair

Signing a Salman Khan-Kabir Khan film at this point would be a bad career move.

1-2 years ago, she would get away with it.

But if this is her next B-Town project, then she is allowing Kangu + Anu to surpass her without a fight !!

I disagree...she has achieved acclaim in what were assumed to be flowerpot roles in CE and HNY, so Kabir Khan who generally writes decent enough roles for female actors can't be a bad choice. I can't imagine the blockbuster potential of this one if true

EDIT: BB was a very good film (I just watched it 2 months ago) but Kareena Kapoor was completely WASTED - so no hopes for his heroine's role(s) in the future.

ETT, New York, Phantom...all had good female roles.
