This is really sad news. I actually thought this was a secure couple who would be together forever...there was always news of things being shaky in their world but they stuck together at all times so i wonder why they couldn't sort out their issues this time.

In the articles in the thread where it is written that sushant wanted ankita to work as that''s her passion and not to give it up for him..it reminded me of zindagi milegi na dobara..where kalki's world revolves around abhay's character and she plans her life around him but he wants her to live like she wants..

Maybe they tried too hard..anyways hope they both find happiness.

If this is a Sushant PR article , then looks like he has learned the lessons of bollywood pretty fast.

But as a gentleman, its not done, SSR. Throwing ur girl under the bus in this way. Insecure or not, she loved him a lot and used to light up whenever his name was mentioned. And was with him when he was not so big.Hope she finds a better ending in the future.

Since SSR parted his ways with Yrf his new PR team is on overdrive. Every now and then you get unnecessary news about him. Breaking him up with his gf will bring him more spotlight and open new doors for new link ups to keep his name in the news. So i wont be surprise if the next target is Kriti. After Dhoni releases he will find his way back to ankita. Right now it looks like a PR game.

IMO, they have not broken up... but there is something definitely amiss, as there is no smoke without fire... The below article from Filmfare cites insecurity and possessiveness...which may or may not be true..

Both of them are young and talented. I hope Ankita starts working again.

Also this 1 month away from each other will help them, by giving space to each other.. Hope they come out strongly after this, as breakups are never difficult especially after the kind of emotional involvement these guys have been through.

Looks like 2016 is definitely the year of break-ups as yet another relationship hits the rock bottom in B-town. After almost six years of being together there are reports that the Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande have decided to separate ways.

A source close to both of them has given an exclusive interview to Mumbai Mirror explaining the reason behind their break-up. The source states that Sushant's picture with his Shuddh Desi Romance co-star Parineeti Chopra is not what triggered this separation, here's what he's got to say.

"He was always transparent about his feelings and Ankita knew that he loved her. But she had been through some bad experiences and that made her fidgety. 2015 was a good year for the couple because he wasn't working, Only prepping up for the Dhoni biopic and the Shekhar Kapur's Paani. But the minute he wasn't around, she would start calling or texting.

Initially, Sushant was patient with her. He'd sit her down and talk it out, pointing out that he couldn't be around her all the time. Ankita would make an attempt to understand but eventually, the familiar fears would be back.

She admitted that she couldn't control them and after a while, he started reacting differently, not wanting to justify and repeat himself every day. He even told her that while he'd never flirt or date another woman, theirs was an open relationship and he would never question her on her whereabouts. But even that couldn't cement a bond that was slowly breaking. He couldn't convince her that nothing would go wrong."

While Sushant will start shooting for Dinesh Vijan's next opposite Kriti Sanon, Ankita is said to concentrate on her career and will soon move out of their Pali Hill love nest. We hope this just a lover's tiff and not an end for their relationship.
