I'm sure Dharma took cricket into consideration when they decided on this date. It's like someone said, if content and word of mouth is good one day won't affect it. Besides, its budget is pretty reasonable (37 cr all inclusive) so it doesn't need to reach a 100 cr for it be considered a hit.

Also there are other movies coming out. Ka&Ki, Baaghi and then summer movies and fall will have the big Khan films. I really think this is a good date. Before too many other films come out and everything gets saturated with ads and promos.

Never found him good looking but gotta say he is a good actor exception BV. Even his acting was bad in that movie.

Really I dont get it why they didnt prepone or postpone the movie by a couple of weeks? Its not as if the match date or movie release date was suddenly decided. It was known six months back. The match and exam season...seems to be a case of 'Fools rush in where angels fear to tread'. Either KJo wants this film to meet the fate of Shandaar and Brothers or is extremely confident and wants it to be an example on how to surmount every kind of odd.

And all of BW is calling the film superlative. Not sure what to make of it..either its like Lootera in which case it will be a BO zero or they are praising it as its good to be politically correct about a film which has a gay angle to it. Anyways today the genuine reviews should start coming in and we will know how the film is.

This film is crucial to Shakun to survive in BW and Fawad to have any sort of career in BW from here on and for their sake I hope it works with the actual paying audience and not just BW folks who watch movies free mein.

Why is everyone being so negative about the release date? How badly can a match for just a Sat evening affect the collections?😕

What is the budget? Does anyone know?

Anyway, if the film has any sort of emotional connect it will surely earn money...

Pretty sure the film will do well if well made..Why will Karan jeopardize a film which has his favorites in it? And its his money after all and there are already rumors about bankruptcy so he must be quite confident about the product..Or so i think cos if not anything else, Shakun is a good director so hopefully its a good film..Am going this weekend though thanks to this friend of mine who is a huge Sid fangirl and i cant even say no cos i made her sit through BV and Tamasha 😆 Anyways, i do think it'l be a good film 😆

Early reports are already saying that Saturday's advanced booking is slow. So it isn't completely unreasonable to be worried because of the match.
