So I finally figured out why KJo was hell bent on this date despite all the issues like exam time, India-Pak match + WC T20 when he could have easily released it on some other date. Its a son's gift to a mother on her birthday.

Also I dont think we should get too excited about Gulf reviews. Every audience in a region behaves differently. Gulf is traditionally strong for Khans which includes Fawad too who has a substantial following there. I mean Dilwale did great in Gulf while it underperformed in India.

My main worry is now the main spoiler/twist that was speculated so far has been confirmed with media happily circulating it. Many people would be turned off by it as we dont like discussing uncomfortable stuff. Like if it were not for Fawad I might have skipped the film too after knowing the twist. Many people will probably do the same now even if reviews are good.
