Why Old Indian Tv Serial Stars Didn't Got That Popularity Like Fawad

Sometime i think that there was a time indian tv actors were way more popular in Pakistan be it Rajeev khandelwal aka Sujal of kahin toh hoga 2003 series he was a huge name in pakistan back then his effect was that they casted them Sujal-Kashish pair in a Pakistani tv show but now he is forgotten ...Cezzane khan aka Anurag basu of kasauti zindagi kay yet another famous man of tv in 2000...Eijaz khan of kavyaanjali as of now i remembered just these 3 khans ...Fawad was also a tv show actor but he got immensly popular in bollywood now which wasn't the case with rajeev and mentioned khans

No idea. But Rajeev was house hold name when he came back in reporters. Ppl used to watch him. Aamir his movie got critical acclaim too. Fawad is talented and he got a very good luck too.humsafar serial supposed to done by Faisal Qureshi but it was fawad's destiny and serial become super hot not only in Pak worldwide.imagine 10 trp. Humsafar used to take such high trp and then rest is history. His other serials were hot too like dastaan/akbari asghari/zgh were hit too.

I think none of the TV stars had it in them except Rajeev ofcourse. Honestly Rajeev is sheer brilliance as an actor. Most of his movies have won critical acclaim be it Aamir, Shaitan or Table No. 21. But he is not a masala movie material like Fawad. Yes he is a terrific actor but not a KJo or YRF types. He always chose different projects not the run of the mill dance or romcom types because thats not his forte. His forte is the kind of cinema seasoned actors do and we still have limited audience for that. Recently his yet to release Death of Amar won the people's choice movie award in 22nd san francisco film fest but hardly anyone knows about it. He had also won an IRDS best actor male for his movie soundtrack. But you wont beleive he lost his debut male filmfare to Imran Khan. Can you beat that

Fawad is famous because he is different, he brings out this old school nawabi essence with his persona and off screen behaviour which adds to his personality.

He is exotic like PC

..I dont really know man imo Rajeev is a good actor, he wanted to do good work but he didnt have the connections needed to rise to the top.


Fawad on the other hand was very lucky that he caught the fancy of the Kapoor sisters and now Kjo..

yeah connections does matter in this industry ...talent alone can not help u ...despite of fact rajeev was equally popular in both the countries

Fawad is special. He is so gorgeous, acts well and has some mystique attached to him. His work deserves to be watched by more people.

1) Fawad is way too overrated , looks wise and acting wise
