SRK's lookalike 'fan' identifies with Gaurav from 'Fan'

Bollywood celebs enjoy immense popularity and often thank their stars for the fan-following they amass during their career. However, sometimes fans go overboard to prove their love for their favourite star and get noticed by them. Shah Rukh Khan's next film, 'Fan,' seems to be the story of one such obsessed fan, Gaurav. SRK, who is a favourite with the masses, also has a doppleganger in real life, who goes around by the name of Jr. Shah Rukh Khan. While his real name is Durgesh Goyal, the fan is quite famous in his own right. After featuring a 'Fan' video by Yashraj Films, Durgesh has now donned Gaurav's look from 'Fan,' and you will have to double check to ensure that he isn't Shah Rukh. We wonder if the writers of the film were somehow inspired by Durgesh. After all, reel is inspired by the real.

Malala: Shah Rukh Khan possesses a Midas touch

Malala Yousafzai is a huge fan of Bollywood. The Nobel prize winner was quoted in a Times of India report as saying that, "I love listening to peppy music - rap by Honey Singh. I also watch films with my friends and go to restaurants. The last movie I loved was Bajrangi Bhaijaan. I clapped non-stop when the film got over." When asked as to when was the last time she had laughed out aloud, Malala confessed, "When I watched Piku. The toilet humour was just too much. I'm laughing even thinking about it." However, neither Salman nor Amitabh are her favourite. "I think Shah Rukh Khan possesses some kind of a Midas touch. Whatever he does is absolutely perfect. I love all the films that I have seen of him, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge being an all-time favourite," she confesses.

Shah Rukh Khan has got an early birthday gift and probably the sweetest one ever from his fans from Rishikesh. A two-member band, called Jumbo Jutts, have made a mashup video of SRK's hit films that they have titled, Senti Mental.' The perfectly edited, high-quality video, includes King Khan's most memorable films, including Chak De! India, Mohabbatein, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

Shah Rukh Khan has his share of crazy fans. The actor is frequently seen addressing and thanking his fans for all the love and support he is showered upon. Some of his fans have often impressed the actor with their creativity. SRK has fans in India and overseas, some of whom have even reprised his songs and tried to imitate him. SRK makes sure to acknowledge their fandom by retweeting these videos. Recently, the actor came across a fan-made trailer of his upcoming film, Raees. Shah Rukh, who has 10 days of filming left for Raees, found the video to be so amusing that he shared it on Twitter. He wrote, "10 din Ki shooting Baaki hai...tum log hi kardo please...itna acchha trailer hai toh @rahuldholakia Bhi maan jayega." [sic] According to a report on Businessofcinema.com, a fan of Shah Rukh, called Vishal Singh has more than 22000 pictures of the star in his possession!

6 Pack Band have a perfect fan moment with Shah Rukh Khan, dance to Jabra song

Mumbai: After their debut single 'Hum Hain Happy', a cover of Pharrell William's 2013 hit number and a second 'Sab Rab De Bande - The Chai Song' featuring Sonu Nigam, the transgender band '6 Pack Band' have achieved a nice fan following.

The band recently had their very own fan moment when they met Bollywood's King Khan, SRK. The actor warmly greeted each and every member of the band and then the 6 pack band gracefully performed Jabra' song for the superstar.

SRK even joined in and danced with the band members while they sang the famous song from his upcoming film Fan'.

The band formed last year claims to be the country's first transgender band, and had two back-to-back releases this January with its first music video "clocking over a million views in just 24 hours."

If you have not yet checked out the trailer of SRK's new film Fan', you probably live under a rock. The trailer of the movie was recently launched amidst the Baadshah's real life fans in Mumbai and was the talk of the town for a long time. The new movie sees SRK at his best portraying a character who is the epitome of a fan's obsession. The monologue "Gaurav makes Aryan; Without Gaurav, Aryan is nothing" speaks for itself. The trailer which was 2:51 minutes long already has been receiving high praise from the actor's fans.

Recently King Khan retweeted a video on Twitter through page SRK Arab Fans'. The video is titled FAN TRAILER BY A FAN' and has a young fan of the star essaying the portal of Gaurav. All the dialogues and scenes are just the same and it is a very endearing watch. This seems to be a dedication to the madness that is being an SRK fan. To this video, the star had this to say on Twitter - "Come and work with us at the v fx studio man. Well done."

How awesome is it when the King himself acknowledges your work in front of the whole virtual world?

The film that has been shot in various locations in Mumbai, Croatia and Delhi revolves around a fan, who turns out to be the exact lookalike of his favorite star. Recreating the actor's super hit Darr,' Fan' has Shah Rukh in a double role with excellent prosthetics in play.
