A Shah Rukh Khan film isn't just a film, it's a celebration. And when the celebration is about the biggest superstar's biggest fan, the excitement quadruples just with the idea of it. With the trailer of Maneesh Sharma's Fan released today, we tell you five things we absolutely love about it and why we can't wait for April 15 already...

Two's a party

One Shah Rukh Khan on screen can make us swoon so just imagine the effect of seeing two of him at the same time! Not a battle of twins but that of a superstar and a fan who's his lookalike, we didn't know which side of the screen to concentrate on with two SRKs in a single frame.

Plot twist!

If Jabra Fan made you think this was going to be another popcorn flick, think again. The shades of grey in the trailer, showing a fan turn obsessive about his superstar idol, only to turn on him later, is miles away from the idea you'd conceive of the film at first take.

High octane

If Shah Rukh Khan is all about romance, he's right up there in the action department too. Showcasing some deadly chase sequences on bikes, on rooftops and on the road with crazy moving traffic, if the trailer is enough to keep us on the edge of our seats, we can only imagine what the film will be like.

Never seen before

We've seen Shah Rukh run and jump and dance and even be villainous on screen but we've never seen him like this. The make-up and prosthetics that go into making him the Sabse Bada Fan Gaurav, along with that unmissable Delhi twang, give us an SRK we've not yet experienced.

Tribute tales

Clearly Shah Rukh believes he's nothing without his fans and their love and this film feels like a tribute to just that. From showcasing the hoards of people outside the superstar's home to wish him, to the obsessive love and passion one fan has for his idol, we're quite taken by this intense tribute to the world of fans.
