I have seen both movies. Thus the opinion. I feel as usual forum is getting swayed like it happens with any critically acclaimed or successful movies.

But like Charming stated, I also think Sonam was much better in Ranjhana and successfully delivered many shades in that movie than Neerja (Though some of the scenes in Neerja portrayed by Sonam were just as good). If the comparison were between Ranjhana and NH10, it would have been a bit tricky. Even then Anushka as an actor always comes across more natural and convincing on screen, like she doesn't have to try hard if you know what I mean 😆

Same. Anu is just more natural and effortless. Sonam is improving and good on her but still a long way to go. Ranjhana's Zoya was just so complicated and unconventional..she got the grey right. Neerja-Sonam nailed the second half . But yeah inconsistencies be there. Neerja as a film is not just new but has so much sentimental value. NH10 was more gritty and just different.

P.S. Is that Vicky Kaushal in your DP? If yes, then totally crushing on him.😆

LMAO Next what? Sonam is better than Meryl streep?? For once she has acted doesn't mean she is the best! Let me remind you many reviews have criticized her also and called her a miscast. So calm your butts down!

I feel a lot of people on the forum also give opinions without watching movies, you know 😆 Saw it happen the second day Neerja released and someone was trying to gol mol insinuate that Sonam's performance was average when it was quite obvious that they hadn't seen it 😆 Anyways, agree with you about the getting swayed thing, it happens with everyone...circle of BW forum that can't be helped. As a fan, you can just enjoy the product they've put their support behind, be glad for their growth and expect good stuff in the future!

No wayyy!! These topics are sooo enlightening! Instead of them being full on popularity posts, where it's one actor vs another, it's actually one role vs another...

I find it so intriguing that in the Sonam vs DP poll, Sonam came out on top easily despite Piku being DP's award winning performance, but in this poll, people are willing to give Anu the benefit of the doubt...despite her performance in NH10 being ignored last year...very enlightening indeed!

Sonam did good but seriously Anushka is by far the better actress.

And she doesn't have only one movie to prove that.

This whole comparing Sonam to everyone is getting ridiculous now.

Let's see if she can keep up the good work instead of dissing everyone else who was and is still better than her when it comes to Talent.

It's great that she made an effort and worked hard for this movie but other actresses have done/doing that way way before her.

I don't know why all this comparison man.

Let her and her fans enjoy the moment and let's not discredit others cuz finally Sonam realized she cld do better with just this one movie.
