The Raees trailer was to be shown on Shah Rukh Khan's birthday yesterday but it didn't happen. Says an industrywalla, "SRK has always had a grand media event on this day and this year too, he was planning to have one. Not just that, the producers of Raees (Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani had announced that they were planning to release the trailer on SRK's birthday to the media but suddenly there was a change of plans. Instead, SRK brought in his birthday at his Alibag bungalow with just close friends and family and away from the media glare. Maybe they didn't want to release their trailer so close to Kaabil. because again comparisons would be made and they wanted to avoid that."

Meanwhile, there were joint celebrations for SRK and Shanaya. Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan brought in his 51st birthday and his close friends Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor's daughter's 17th birthday at the superstar's Alibag bungalow. Shanaya and SRK's daughter Suhana are very close. Along with them, Ranbir Kapoor, Kajal Anand and Karan Johar were also present.

Koi nahin Farhan...they will get their due someday soon.

But I still think 26th Jan is not the right date for Raees type of subject and also it shd not release in a clash.

yes even I feel with the mention of Pre EID he hinted at the earlier schedule

26th Jan is indeed not an ideal date to release a movie of this genre but shifting it to another date ain't a great option either as they have already shifted it once. They'll be ruining whatever buzz is out there about it if they keep shifting it again and again man. If the movie is good , if the performances are good , if it connects with the audience then it will do well hopefully. Nobody can predict the BO of a film. There's no guarantee of a movie doing well just because it has a solo release. The only factor that I'm a bit apprehensive about here are the possibility of protests.

They should release the trailer with Dangal man. Dear Zindagi is more catered to the multiplex audience , it looks like a niche film where as Dangal would have a wider audience which is why I'm hoping they release the trailer with Dangal.

Shah Rukh Khan's Raees trailer to be attached with Alia Bhatt's Dear Zindagi

Everybody has been raving about Shah Rukh Khan film Raees since the first teaser of the film came out. Just look at Miya Bhai ki Chaal and you cannot help but become a fan of him. It was reported that the first trailer of the film be unveiled on SRK's 51st birthday, but there was a sudden change in plans. Fans who were left waiting for Raees trailer should rejoice now as the day for its release has FINALLY come closer. The trailer will be released with Dear Zindagi. Yep! We know Shah Rukh Khan plays a pivotal role in this slice of life film starring Alia Bhatt as the female lead. Raees trailer will be attached with the prints of Dear Zindagi. Sweet!

A news portal reports that there will also be a huge trailer launch event for Raees a day ahead of the Dear Zindagi's release. Yep! The trailer of Raees will be released online on digital platforms. So yep there is a slight possibility that on 23 or 24th of November Shah Rukh will break the internet. Makes sense as both Dear Zindagi and Raees are being co-produced by Red Chillies Entertainment.

Raees has already courted a lot of controversy with Pakistani actress Mahira Khan playing the female lead. Farhan Akhtar, who has produced Raees has said that he is not worried about any opposition to the release as they have not "broken any law". Co-producer Sidhwani said they are not thinking about anything else but only focusing on the release of the film. "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil released. There was a (difficult) time and it has passed. We are working towards releasing the trailer very soon," he said in an interview.
