Which star kids would not be in BW if they were not star kids?

Sorry but all of them because we dont know how hard working they are in reality. Of course they say they work hard for their roles which they should but a lot of them come across as lazy they either think they are talented enough so it will work either way or they rely on their so called family connections. None of these Star kids really worked outside the industry they never faced real struggle only those who later failed or fails when audiences doesnt accept them and their movies flops thats when their struggle really starts. They studied abroad lived their lifes with daddys money come back and were assistant directors then finally they got their debut. All of those Star kids arent good looking like models the only one out of them would be maybe Kareena and Sonam would have got also attention like Deepika if she was a model I would also include Hrithik but a no to Abhishek, Ranbir, Arjun or even Alia. All of them had to struggle like all others till they got a chance to be in a movie with a really good role.

Hrithik is really good looking and very hard working and when he isn't over-acting or trying too hard to look/sound super kool, he is actually worth every accolade he gets. I think he would have made it even if his father wasn't as influential. Not sure if he would have gotten such good films to work on like the ones his father directed for him .. let's face it, KNPH was a dream debut with an awesome role and then there is KMG, Krishh. No director would have invested so much time and effort to make a film like that if it wasn't for his son. So, Hrithink probably wouldn't have gotten such awesome film choices, he would have probably done the usual bollywood films and I am sure he would have done those well. So, he would still be a star in his own right but not sure if his acting capabilities would have gotten this kind of exposure and appreciation.

Ranbir could also have made it. No matter how big a douche bag he is in his real life and I don't even think that he is a very great actor on screen, but he is good and natural enough. And if he didn't have so much money and a Kapoor surname backing him up, he probably wouldn't have had the guts to experiment as much either. He would have done lot more movies and most of them the usual romantic/comedy/thriller ones. No one would have bothered to invest so much on him like they did for BV so early on in his career and hence, he wouldn't have gotten as much flak either. He would have survived at least a decade and left a usual hero mark.

Amongst girls, I think Kareena, Sonam and maybe Shraddha would have still at least made it to the debuts. I mean they are all pretty (Sonam with makeup) and usual kind of bollywood actress types looking. They may not have gotten big roles but more like debuts as flowerpot roles. Kareena wouldn't have been this arrogant if not for Kapoor surname and hence, maybe would have gotten less of herself in her head and would have spent more time acting (which she is alright at). Also, Sonam wouldn't have given all the W*F statements if she wasn't a kapoor and hence, would have saved herself from losing some fans. Shraddha is good, don't think she has been part of controversies. She is pretty with not much a screen presence but she is doing alright as a starter. She would have done the same if it wasn't for her surname. Funny enough all the three actresses I mentioned about are kapoors. Lol.

Practically all of them. Though the list for girls might be shorter. The tall ones like Sonam and Athiya might have found their way through modeling. The cute ones like Alia maybe through a TV commercial. Kapoor sisters, specially Karisma and her blue eyes would have gotten through due to her exotic looks in India especially considering she started in the 90s.

But the boys, Varun, Arjun, Abhishek, Sooraj, Ranbir etc, would have had a hard time even getting an audition especially for lead roles. The ones with talent might have ended up in the same league as Ayushman or Rajkumar Rao.

I don't know why people insist that Ranveer is an outsider especially when there are pictures of him and Ranbir at Sonam's birthday party. He's talked about dancing all night with Arjun at family functions. His parents may not have lobbied for him but considering the environment he grew up in he knew a lot of people in the industry. He had a lot of networking connections from the get go. That being said, it's also not fair to compare Arjun to him. Ranveer does have talent, and a great body. Arjun has neither.

Kareena has the kind of face that would have instantly caught attention.

Desis and Bollywood are suckers for fair skin and colored eyes. Both the Kapoor girls would have easily been in. (considering Karisma debut later when she's better groomed).

Johar said you could spot her a mile away. Even Saif recollects that she was a beautiful young girl when he first noticed her sitting nearby.

Not to mention, Kareena killed it in Refugee.

apart from Hrithik, Kareena and maybe Ranbir... none of the others wud have been in bollywood...esp ppl like Alia, Shradha, Athiya, Sonam etc

Sonam and Arjun kapoor . Both of them can't act to save their lives and on top of it doesn't have any screen presence or notable hits to their credit to even get film after film .

The star kids or those related to stars closely...who wouldn't have been in BW...are Sonam, AB Jr(he is a good actor but no one would have given him a chance if not for his Dad), Imran Khan, Parineeti Chopra, Uday Chopra, Tushaar Kapoor, Bobby deol...
