I didnt read the whole article...

But tbh everyone knows BW awards suck big time.

Filmfare used to be the most celebrated mainstream award show a couple of years ago, but its quality has deteriorated so so badly... Its a sad scenario. 🥱

I swear! The last full Award show I saw ... Maybe the year IIFA was hosted by SRK/Shahid. Otherwise ... I don't remember seeing em in ages! I only see ... performances/dancing online. Only those which interest. 😆

Hell, I barely saw any award function before last year - I should have cause it's Shahid's year but just ... couldn't!

He is right that these awards don't help boost your career at all.

Just imagine Brie Larson winning her first Oscar for Room and this will change her career forever. And when you look at Indian cinema, Kangana winning a national award for fashion didn't help her career, she got no film offers.

If awards are nothing why do SRK and his clan openly lobbies for it?? I mean its true that awards in BW doesnt really help an artiste as much.. So why do some of the stars take the extra step to buy them?? Weird isnt it..🤔 Or maybe its of use.. They use it to give their image a boost..

Do they have a choice? 😆 It's complicated. I'm gonna have a hard time putting this into words - You see Awards do mean something, but the system's messed up. And those who are lobbying for it are the ones who messed it up.

Well today i learnt that shahrukh only won 2 FF in last 10years but this forum makes it look like he buys it every year 😕 Kuchh logon ka to khana hi hazam nahi hota bina shahrukh ke naam ke 😆
