Sanskrit I find difficult. And so most south Indian languages coz they are closer to Sanskrit. Like Tamil.

Other than that, I have no idea about any International languages. But French and Chinese looks difficult.

French is quite easy...but maybe that's because my school started teaching it when I was 8 years old.

Chinese differ a lot from Japanese & Korean language.

Chinese has Mandarin, hok kian & few others as language. Mandarin the simple & easy one. Most of the chinese well educated with Mandarin. Its like the main language for them. Hok kian & others are more to caste language.

Korean & Japanese sound similar but not same. Chinese is more easy to learn thn Korean & Japanese.

But their writing somehow same. Its more like drawing thn joining alphabet. 😆

the three actually have different writing systems. Chinese utilizes thousands of characters, which like you said, is like drawing. Korean actually has an alphabet called Hangul, so writing korean is pretty much like joining alphabets. I believe they utilized chinese character up til the 19th century and have a chinese number system too, along with a korean one. Japanese has 3 different writing "alphabets." There's kanji, which are chinese characters. Then there's hiragana, which is based on syllables/sounds. pretty much each sound is represented by a character. Katakana is similar to hiragana but is mainly used for transcription of foreign language words into japanese.

chinese is probably the hardest to learn because of tones.

I think a lot depends on what your native language (or your first language) is. Someone who is fluent in English would probably have an easier time with French, Spanish, Dutch etc because they already have such close familiarity with its alphabet and even some minor words. People in the Middle East probably learn Urdu easier than a Caucasian American.

Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese), Japanese, Korean etc is probably hardest for the rest of the world because they don't usual Latin alphabet, which once again has universal acceptance for lack of a better phrase.

Hands down Mandarin, Spanish is very easy if you know English. French has a lot of pronunciations which are difficult but mandarin , you have to learn the words not alphabet !!

they literally couldn't be more different from each other.

Script, tones, actual characters, words...

to answer the question-

really depends on who you ask!

I've heard from many people that English is a crazily hard language to learn. Had I not been taught it from an early age I'd agree to- it has very little rhyme and reason 😆 Random rules applying to pronunciation, spelling
