Why is Aamir Khan called Perfectionist?

Bollywood has talent better than Aamir, we hve Irrfan, Nawazuddin, Kay Kay, Rajkumar kind of actors who are better actors than Aamir, even better films than Aamir when you see Content film ratings, so why only he is labelled as perfectionist while Irrfan kind of talent which is ignored by India media is working in big hollywood films?

I think a lot of other people like co-stars and directors have described aamir as a perfectionist so thats why the media says so...??? Not sure though 😕

And I think the fact that actors like Nawaz, Irfan, Rajkumar, etc. are not talked about that much in the media apart from work reasons is part of the reason why a lot of people, at least me, like them. I only see them when they have a film to be released soon etc. 👍🏼

may be doing a movie for every 2 years is called as perfect in his dictionary ?lol

i personally dont even see any such outstanding performance from him ,for which he has to be labelled as perfectionist !! but i guess the roles he select gives the credit for him as perfectionist !!

Whilst Irfan Khan is a good actor.

His roles in Hollywood have not been very big.

Saw 'Life of PI' and 'Jurassic World'.

He was not given much screen time.

Hollywood is still very backwards in giving non European actors lead roles in major films.

None of them can play pk, dj, Aakash, acp rathor and raja (ishq) better than Aamir khan.. That is the most simple way I can put it..

Characters which Irrfan played in Paan singh tomar, the namesake, the lunchbox, Nawaz in Manjhi, talaash, bb, Rajkumar in Citylights, shahid, hak, kay kay in black friday are no less than any aamir's character.

The amount of time he takes to choose project and deliver it, may be. Not sure, when the word was coined (Mangal Pandey?).

Perfection ofcouse needs preparation. But not sure, whether we can count perfection with preparation time around. There are some natural actors who can get out a feeling instantaneously without prep. On the other side, Amir thinks for an hour even before tweeting two lines.

Who doesn't respect him? Question is why treat him special while others perform better than him. Iconic in terms of commercial success yes in terms of critical apprecoation, he is far behind them especially from Irrfan.
