HR is definitely in top 5 of BW superstars!

The problem is he does very few films but whatever he has done in last few years have all been either superhits (Bang Bang in 2014, Agneepath in 2012) or All time blockbuster (Krishh 3 in 2013)

His success ratio is around 50% which is really good!

Its understandable he took a break to deal with family and health issues but he shd be back with Mohenjodaro and his other upcoming films.

Hes an excellent actor, his roles in Guzarish and Lakshya shd have won him many accolades but just because the films didnt do well at the BO, he didnt get applauded.

Hes very versatile, has done a variety of roles, in historicals, action, superhero, sci-fi, romance genre etc.

Hope he will do at least 2 films a year from now on...Mohenjodaro shd be very good!

Hr was almost like a superstar from his outing itself. Best newcomer+ best actor ( looks, body, dancing skills r added bonus) award for first movie. Only challenger to SRK for long time.

His last 4 films r ZNMD, Agneepath, K3, Bang.. are BO successes. If Salman's Jai ho, SRk's HNy, Dilwale Amir's Talaash and Dhobighat etc.. are called unperformed so as HR's Bang Bang. Only superstars have that burden. ppl dont throw Akshay, Ajay or the younger lot under the bus for their flops/disasters.

His successful films are (semi-hit or above) are,

KNPH, MK, K3G, KMG, Lakshya, Krrish, D2, JA, ZNMD, Agneepath, K3, Bang Bang. 12/20. 60%

6 of them are BBs. 30%

His memorable perf. are-

- Raj- Rohit of KNPH.

- Misguided terrorist in MK

- Most OTT pathetic acting in MPKDH

- Rohit Mehra in KMG

- Akbar from JA

- Stylish thief in D2 (as a queen and an old-man, he cud do a full movie)

- Tarzan becoming superhero in Krrish

- Ethan from Guzarish

- Vijay from Agneepath

- 3 roles in K3

Playing youngman next door- He has done it in so many films but his character traforms into larger than life in 2nd half.

- Rohit-KNPH, Fiza (when hez not terrorist), Boring banker in ZNMD, Vijay in first half of Agneepath,

But he is suited to larger than life characters and so he gets those roles or rather he chooses them.

For 13 films he was nominated for FF awards and got 6 of them- 4 best actor, one best newcomer and one for Critic's best actor.

As for his flops from Yaadein to MPKDH, he was popular in with NR desis 2nd to SRK only.

All thats been achieved in 20 films career spaning 15 years. If thta's not a Superstar then who is..

As for all 3 Khans Vs HR, well we need 2 HR's clones. 😉 That would be nice. We can have 40 HR movies in next 10 years. 👏

Not enough movies. Still, he did really well as a star until 2008 or so. Up until then, the decade was pretty much dominated by SRK and Hrithik. His 2 year break post JA followed by the twin failures of Kites/Guzaarish hurt him big time. This co-incided with Aamir and Salman going on an extraordinary run. He went from being a top 2-3 star to being a distant and almost irrelevant 4th.

From his gen actors I think he is one of the most successful ones.. Just a little unfortunate that he acts a film in a span of 2-3years...

And Aamir was irrelevant for a while before 3idiots..and same said for Salman.. So he has a good run.. Guzzarish and kites didn't do him good but bang bang brought him back.. So hope fully the upcoming ones he can nail them. I loved him in JA!

Saying Hrithik isn't a superstar, is like saying people value KRK's "opinions." 🤣

Hes a FANTASTICALLY hard working actor who puts his soul in everything that he does. He has that constant bug of wantinf to improve & better himself in every aspect of Life. His filmography is a testament to his talent, hard work & need to diversify. Hes also one of the few movie actors who seems to have a brain.😆

The only complaint I can find in him is his desire to kill the vulnerability he possesses. His smartness + that innkxnet vuknrability was a hot-bed of seduction but sadly, he tries to appear "very cool".

In the real world, and in BW, Hrithik Roshan very much is a Superstar. ⭐️
