Hrithik's Kaabil as Balam in Telugu

Hrithik Roshan and Rakesh Roshan are back together with 'Kaabil', a revenge drama set against a strong love story. The Telugu version has been titled 'Balam' and will have a big release on Republic Day, 2017. The first look poster has been released by the film unit on social media recently. Meanwhile, the movie has gained a good pre-release business across two Telugu states, Tamilnadu, Karnataka and the rights for Kerala were bagged by Superstar Mohan Lal. Rajesh Roshan's music is already raving reviews and the Hindi teaser of the movie has clocked over 25 million views on YouTube. Directed by Sanjay Gupta, the movie has Yami Gautam playing the leading lady.

Aamir Khan praises Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil

Actor Aamir Khan was all praise for the trailer of Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil at the song launch of his upcoming film Dangal. The superstar Khan who was glad to hear Hrithik's father Rakesh Roshan praising Dangal and its trailer returned the compliment in equal fashion.

"I am very happy to hear that (Rakesh Roshan's praise). I have been a big fan of Rakeshji from his first film and infact his first film Madhosh was for my father. I have seen him in action since my childhood. I feel happy that he liked the trailer of Dangal. He is a very lovely and warm person. In fact, I also saw the trailer of Kaabil and liked it very much. I also called Hrithik and told him the same," said Aamir.

Talking about the importance of releasing trailers in today's times, Aamir said, "I think a trailer is important for every film. It offers the audience the first insight into a film. It gives the audience a chance to know how the film could be and they can make up their mind whether to watch the film or not. So to cut a trailer of a film is a very important step in the marketing of the film."

Good gesture. I loved the Dangal trailer too, very powerful!

HR and Aamir could make a movie together...Like about two characters that never get to meet, but have a mysterious connection and their choices impact the life of the other

Hrithik Roshan on demonetisation: I salute our PM for the inspirational move

Over the last few days, Bollywood stars have been expressing their support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's demonetisation policy. No sooner had the PM announced the demonetisation of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes on November 8 than many stars took to Twitter to hail the decision.

Hrithik Roshan is the latest celebrity to lend his support to the policy. The actor said, "I salute our PM. This is radical but it's a first step to his promise of eradication of malpractices. It will also rein in counterfeiters. Bravo!!"

Of course, the 'Kaabil' actor was well aware of how the decision has caused inconvenience to the daily lives of citizens. Keeping this into account, Hrithik pointed out that this is a necessary step to curb black money and people will probably understand its benefits only in hindsight. He stated, "Every bold and inspirational move is initially met with resistance. It's only in hindsight that people will appreciate the strength of this move against black money."
