Okay .. so the deal is that RS is interested in DP, DP is friends with RS but is in love with RK. RK is sort of in a relationship with Kat, and Kat is not sure if RK will ever truly love only her.

I dont think she really mean it what everyone here is interpreting... She has weak communication skills and doesnt have command over English language.. She was trying to sound philosophical and it fell flat or she did this on purpose as she has traces of being an attention seeker... Even during Tamasha promotions it was kind of obvious that she is over him and has moved on (and yes this is coming from Ranbir's fan) Ranveer is a genuine guy loves her immensely and she feels happy around him or seems so. With Ranveer becoming successful as far as his career is concerned, she ain't going anywhere!!

Of course Ranveer will get best boyfriend title...
