Iduppazhagi'. Her
performance in these
movies was widely
appreciated by critics and
her varied roles won the admiration of the masses.
Busy shooting for the sequel of 'Baahubali', 'Baahubali
2', Anushka says, "I will do varied roles which is my
way of showing respect to my profession that got me
name and fame."
The actress is also part of Suriya's S3, and says, she
is a big fan of actresses Rani Mukherji and Kajol.
Excerpts from the interview:
Q: What projects are you working on now?
A: 'Baahubali 2' and 'S3' are on the cards. I am
greatly indebted to this industry that gave me name
and fame. There is a burning desire in me to do varied
roles. I am not for cliched roles. Variety is the spice of
life for me.
Q: What are your strengths and weaknesses?
A: My plus is that I always think positively and take a
decision without haste. And my weakness is that I
regret a lot for even small issues. I gave my best to
'Arundhathi' and the movie was a big hit and brought
me laurels.
Q: What is the secret of your success?
A: I always expect people to be friendly with me. And I
always speak the truth. My motto in life is to work
hard. Hard work will always be rewarded. Perhaps that
has brought me success.
Q: Your favourite actors in Bollywood.
A: I am a great fan of Amitabh Bachchan. I like the
way Rani Mukherji and Kajol perform on screen.
Q: On rumours about your marriage?
A: People have been asking me a lot of questions
about my marriage. I would like to clarify to all of
them that I am yet to find a suitable match. If I come
across anyone who impresses me, I will get married
immediately.
