she could feel his pain which is not a doormat at all

OT : I saw that movie on TV when i was a kid , dont even remember what happened there.. all i remember is SRK wearing lenses & Shilpa Shetty's character falling down the building - remember it vividly coz of i was afraid of heights for a while after watching that scene..😆.. other than that , sorry nothing to contribute on topic..😆

i'm still afraid lol...everytime i m like SRK ki tarah mujhe bhi koi na phek dey lolllzzz...all credit to SRK for his brilliant acting... ⭐️

😆 😆 So true and also he was wronged by her dad so she had some sympathy for him...

During that period Shah Rukh playing anti hero was considered a bold career move and I don't think they had the guts back then to make the ML completely dark by making him a cold blooded killer...

So they added a back story... He had his reasons to kill...

But In the original 'A Kiss before dying' on which Baazigar is based. there is no revenge involved, the girls' dad did nothing to his family... The guy was a psycho social climber with no regards to human life...

He kills her purely for selfish motives

I saw Baazigar as a child, my initial reaction was crying as Ajay died and that he and Priya could not be together. Even after all these years and repeat viewing, it is still one of my favorite films ever of theirs. I think it is the connection that people had towards SRK's Ajay and Kajol's Priya and the chemistry between them that made folks overlook a lot of the W*F elements of the film.

I should have enormous sympathy and connection with the Shlpa Shetty character for the way she died, but zero. She is like a pretty piece of wood there. I think it says a lot SRK-Kajol still have a career as actors and Shilpa does not. She is gorgeous and talented, but acting is not one of them and it shows in Baazigar when the three of them were at the beginnings of their acting careers.

i love bazigar songs and srk nailed in a negitive role !! lol saying her doormat😆 she is feeling bad that once she loved him and dying in front of her can make anyone react the same way kajol did !!

she was rational n had empathy n she understood that
his fathers greed has destroyed their lives..
if anyone was responsible for her sisters death then its her
father himself..the riches they grew up with were never thrs
bt ajay's family..which rational person can blame ajay if
her father had casted evil eyes on the little boy's mother too?😡
so she was nt doormat bt a character who had rationality n
power to accept bitter truth n even forgiveness..

Finally something we agree on. Both Kajol and Shipa had roles that were nothing to rave about and were just flowerpot roles. Kajol didn't contribute ANYTHING to Baazigar, anyone could've done that role. Baazigar is a SRK movie and he had the meatiest part.

thank god she rejected the film...

if she did not reject it...BW would not have got the most romantic iconic jodi of indian cinema(SRKajol)...so its a bonus point that she rejects it...secondly she will look like SRK's elder sister...they don't have a chemistry...Army was proof...
