Aamir Khan Keen to Play Kishore Kumar in Biopic

Aamir Khan is one actor who thoroughly thinks about each film he does, getting involved with many more aspects than an actor would normally. It will therefore come as a pleasant surprise to many that Khan has recently shown an interest to revive the Kishore Kumar biopic which has previously been associated with Anurag Basu and Ranbir Kapoor.
TOI reports that Khan recently had a discussion about the project with Kapoor and asked him whether it was still on the cards. Kapoor apparently told Khan that the only biopic he would definitely be doing is the Sanjay Dutt one with Rajkumar Hirani. Khan then went on to check whether it would be alright if he then approached the studio with his interest and Kapoor gave him the green light to do so.
Many will be excited at the prospect of seeing Kumar being relived by an actor with the Midas Touch. It remains to be seen how fruitful the talks end up being.

Damn..The only project of his i was excited about and this happens 😆 Din't they say they couldn't get the permission of the family so they are shelving it? Ab Aamir hai toh mil jaayega kya? Or did they just ditch Ranbir cos Aamir showed interest in the project? 😆

Was ranbir considered for this role

This is great news, if it comes to fruition. Though knowing Aamir the movie if it happens; is at-least a couple of years away.😆 His upcoming projects that he is speculated to a part of sound amazing. Also he is going for more meatier and tougher roles acting wise, that will be a challenge.

First Dangal, now this and he is rumored for Mid Dey as well (a biopic on a the crime journalist J dey). There were also talk about the movie Farhan is directing next, I think he has signed on that too.

Potentially an amazing line-up but with Aamir we won't know till the last minute. He kept denying Dangal forever, when every news outlet was saying that he had signed it. And then after PK he announced the very same movie.😆

When ranbir had bought the rights for this for soo many years and suddenly the family starts creating problems?? Until now there was never news that the family had issues. In fact last year sometime basu said the family has liked the script.

Don't think he'd suit the character. Kishore Da was a mad man. Method actor that Aamir is, wont be able to do justice to the role..
