Exactly! This is probably the first time he's been on receiving end. Like failure from a clash

Its funny how some Ranveer fans on the forum have maroed palti. Before the release of Dilwale they were like 'I just hope BM makes it because Ranveer and co worked so hard' or 'Dilwale will be a sureshot Blockbuster but just hope that BM can just recover costs'.
Now they are like 'Ooo...what a bully SRK is and he deserves it' or 'Serves SRK right for not coming up with a content wala film and bullying my poor Veeru'.
I hope the SRK fans(and others) here take it as a lesson...boast or post articles AFTER the film releases and works rather than make tall claims before watching it. You dont know who is being a meethi churi here.
As for the industry...yes the quiet has been surprising. I was even more surprised by Taran's tweet yesterday the way he acted as if SRK had been bullying bechare SLB and Eros. Not sure if the reason is because people want to stay away due to political comments. Seems like a personal vendetta-mare hue ko aur maaro. SRK went thru this before too during Ra1 when everyone was out to pull him down. I suppose people who play with set traditions have to face this.
Anyways SRK deserves it I guess for coming with a film which lacked a screenplay and putting it up for a clash. He should have known better and should understand public tastes better.

This!

Also aprt from dilwale content, he shud avoid saying controversial stuff during film release.

Also, I've not maroed palti, but been slightly embarrassed by what my favorite Jodi and actor was offering. It's been 4 years since a good srk performance.

So will obviously support the second favorites n a film I had been really looking forward to.

Hope Raees n Fan make me proud

DW is not as bad as people are making it out to be...otherwise how come it is breaking records overseas where there are no protests and bans etc??

To me it was bad. I knew by interval that this film wont go anywhere. But I suppose not everyone thinks so...so its still coughing along.

It is a crap movie that's why.

All this talk of protests, no support and so on(insert any nonsensical excuse) is bullshit. The movie is getting its behind kicked (in the context that it was supposed to be 200 crore plus blockbuster); because it is a pain to sit through. That should have been evident from that horrendous trailer, copied from god knows how many movies.

It opened to 21 crores in a clash. Yeah right, it had an agenda against it. The fact is that it failed to show any growth what so ever after that. The only thing that should be blamed from heron is the movie itself.

PK faced protests too (on a bigger scale one could argue), it had its screenings cancelled as well; but still topped the all time list.

PVR cinemas, early morning show of BM,the ad for Ariel washing powder with Gerua playing in the background, a lady stops in her tracks in the row of seats before me and says, I cannot believe I watched this sick film, this Gerua song was the only good thing about it and she told her hubby to never mention Dilwale to her again! 😆 I wonder where the bans and protests come into the picture here when the product is sub standard! 😆

I think different movies appeal to different audiences BI. Thats why films like MNIK, Dilwale worked overseas. Even DW is working well in South and East India.
