Yaar...aap hume mat smajhayie as we are audience too! You aren't the only one who freaking constitutes the audience neither are you entitled to speak on everyone's behalf! Content matters and no one is denying that but to say it determines BO success is a joke! Because if that was the only factor, Kick, Bodyguard, HNY, CE wouldn't have broken the records they did! These are all films that were trashed by the critics.

Audience loved Kick, CE because they were entertaining


Not all maasla films are crap, when there is one then Auidence rejects them. Clearly Dilwale didn't sustain that well after it's first day tells us a lot whether it's rejected or not. I'm saying after analysing the numbers.

if the audience has indeed rejected the movie you wouldnt have to come here repeatedly to emphasis on it... and btw the whole world is not fool... you are actually disrespecting the places where the film has done amazingly well.. aisey tou even i can say that the overall world audience is not fool to be lured by grand sets and "cinematic exlerience" which is why they rejected bm...

When did I say that only critically acclaimed films have good content?

after "analyzing" the numbers even i can say thay bm is not doing that well as everyone would like to believe.. but alas i like deepveer so bringing down bm is not what i want to do

But I thought only content worked at the BO! The contradictions are quite hilarious to say the least. To analyse figures, one needs to freaking take into account the fact that hundreds of its shows were cancelled, there was a concerted effort on every social media platform by certain groups out there to spread negativity, there were boycott calls made, the film wasn't released in as many theaters as CE or HNY, lost 700 screens or more in the second week. Do your homework before you start preaching to us about analysis of the BO numbers! As for entertaining, the fact that it's still breaking records should tell you about how entertaining it's!
